الحبيب عمر بن حفيظ: الطمأنينة بذكر الله، وقال أهل القيام في الليل: "لو يعلم الملوك ما نحن فيه في الليل لجالدونا عليه بالسيوف"، وكيف تكون طالب علم ومحب للخير ويمر عليك رمضان وصيامه وقيامه وحضور مجالس الخير، وتأتي ليالي العشر وأنت ما تذوق حلاوة القرب من الرب؟ ما تذوق لذة المناجاة! تنتظر ماذا؟! تنتظر أن تموت وبعدها تذوق؟ إذا صدقت من أول يوم سيبدأ الذوق عندك، ما الذي منعك من الذوق؟ انتبه لنفسك! ابعد الموانع.

"ثلاث من كُنّ فيه وجد بِهنّ حلاوة الإيمان: أن يكون الله ورسوله أحب إليه مِما سواهما، وأن يحب المرء لا يُحِبه إلا لله.."، انظر الأخيار والصالحين الذين في زمنك والذين في بلدك، ومن مضوا قبلك؛ تحبهم من أجل الله، أصفياء أتقياء أولياء، علماء صلحاء، زهاد عباد، كيف ما نحبهم؟ إذا ما أحببناهم من أجله أين تذهب محبة قلوبنا؟!

الترجمة إلى الإنجليزية (In English):

Tranquility is in the remembrance of Allah.. Those who stood in the night prayer would say, “If the kings knew what we were experiencing in the night prayer, they would fight us for it with swords”.

So how can you be a student of knowledge and lover of good when the prayer and fasting of Ramadan, attending gatherings of goodness, and the 10 days of Dhul Hijjah pass you by and you do not taste the sweetness of being close to Allah? You don’t taste the sweetness of intimate conversation with Him? What are you waiting for! Are you waiting until you die and then you taste it? If you are truthful from the first day then this sweetness will begin for you - so what is preventing you from tasting it? Watch yourself! Distance yourself from what is preventing you! 

“There are three things that whoever has them will find the sweetness of faith: That Allah and His Messenger ﷺ are more beloved to them than anything else; that he loves a person only for the sake of Allah”. Go and see the good and righteous people of your time, those in your country, and those who passed before you. You love them for the sake of Allah - the pure, the pious, those close to Allah, the righteous scholars, the ascetic slaves of Allah - how can we not love them? If we do not love them for His sake, where does the love from our hearts go..?

الترجمة إلى الإندونيسية (Terjemah bahasa indonesia):

Ketenteraman ada dalam mengingat Allah. Orang-orang yang bangun malam berkata: "Jika para raja mengetahui apa yang kami rasakan di malam hari, mereka akan memerangi kami dengan pedang untuk mendapatkannya." Bagaimana mungkin kamu menjadi seorang penuntut ilmu dan pecinta kebaikan, tetapi Ramadan, puasa, salat malam, dan menghadiri majelis-majelis kebaikan berlalu begitu saja? Malam-malam terakhir datang, tetapi kamu tidak merasakan manisnya mendekatkan diri kepada Allah? Kamu tidak merasakan nikmatnya bermunajat! Apa yang kamu tunggu?! Menunggu hingga mati baru merasakannya? Jika kamu jujur sejak hari pertama, rasa itu akan datang padamu. Apa yang menghalangimu dari merasakan itu? Perhatikan dirimu! Singkirkan penghalangnya.

"Tiga hal yang jika ada pada seseorang, dia akan merasakan manisnya iman: mencintai Allah dan Rasul-Nya lebih dari yang lain, mencintai seseorang hanya karena Allah..." Lihatlah orang-orang baik dan saleh di zamanmu, di negaramu, dan mereka yang telah mendahuluimu; cintailah mereka karena Allah. Orang-orang pilihan, orang-orang bertakwa, para wali, ulama saleh, para zahid, para ahli ibadah, bagaimana mungkin kita tidak mencintai mereka? Jika kita tidak mencintai mereka karena Allah, ke mana perginya cinta dalam hati kita?!
